I believe in constant growth in leadership and self. Once I have graduated again I plan to continue my education, but this time I am going to perfect areas, which I want to be strong in. I plan to take leadership classes, go to professional development seminars, and read leadership books. I also plan to work on my writing skills, speaking skills, and certifying in Spanish and German. I strongly believe if I stop learning I will sink into a deep depression. I also want to learn more about agriculture, since my family has a cattle farm,
and I know one day I will have to run the farm.

One of the best leaders and friend is Command Sergeant Major (Retired), Heikkinen. I would go with leader anywhere in the world and fight with him. I know he is one of the most grounded individuals I have met and knows how to delegate. If he thinks, a task does not make sense he will stop and improvise the action. He is always willing to stand up for what is right and not scared to take a hit by higher command. He takes time to say thank you and let you know what you’re doing is vital to the mission. CSM Heikkinen will sit down with you and just talk to you; he will ask about your family, your goals and even give your guidance on your career. What I respected the most about this leader is he is always positive and loved to joke with us. He really knew how to run a company. He was confident in his workers and never micromanaged, unless
