The blessed damozel perfectly justifies the fear of death to a person who is passionately in love. For s/he fears not the death, the hell or the retribution but the separation from one’s lover. She glorifies the exuberance of the heavenly beings and heavenly objects calling her lover so that they could both enjoy it together.
