The lunar queen is trying to destroy the world, and cinders the only one that can stop her.
One of the best things about this book is how when u start to get bored with the book she brings you right back. Like if you are reading chapter 28 and you are about to end it and you think it's starting to get boring, then there's a cliff hanger right at the end of the chapter. You can't put the book down it's so good. I can't wait to read the rest

Although at times it was hard to follow what was exactly happening in the book. I felt like the book jumped around a lot because each chapter was a different event that happened throughout the year. I didn’t know when the events occurred so at times it was confusing. In addition, the book was older so it was hard to make connections with the book and my everyday life.…

I like how its really intense and calming and also some parts funny. I like how it talks about teen pregnancy because some young teens will want to get pregnant at such a young age and if they read this book it may help them change their mind and wait till they get older, thats very important to me. I really like the chapter where Bobby was talking about the wall when he was trying to get everything back in place and try to see who he really was, i thought that part was really good. I like how it goes back and fourth for the chapters like then and now, it makes you want to read more because in one chapter it tells you really good information and you just want to read even more till the…

Ladies and gentleman of the jury I find the book mocking jay by Suzanne Collins in 2010 to be very good at keeping me in suspense and keeping me interested. However, there were areas in which the book was not quite as good such as giving all the details, being too violent, and isn’t good for little kids. The book is a good book and I liked it but I didn’t like it as much as I did the first 2 books and this last book disappointed me. I was expecting some amazing ending to the series of the hunger games but I was let down from the things that happened in the book. Mocking jay is just a sad book that doesn’t even seem humane for the capitol to be doing to all of these different districts.…

"You will rejoice to hear that no disaster has accompanied the commencement of an enterprise which you have regarded with such evil forebodings." This sentence starts the novel with a bang. Shortly after he got back to his family in New Beijing, he passed away from Letumosis, more commonly known as “the plague”. Because he traveled to Europe and adopted Cinder, she was always blamed for his death, even though there was not anything that she could do about it. She stated, “My step-- my guardian, Adri, always suspected he got it in Europe. When he adopted me.”, Cinder told this to Dr. Erland, a doctor that she was sent to after Adri found out that her real daughter had acquired Letumosis after going to a junkyard with Cinder. She was sent to be a guinea pig for testing to find a cure, even though she did not volunteer. Adri still thought that she owed it to Peony, her step sister because she once again thought it was Cinder’s fault that one of her family members went out and got the plague. Although, it made absolutely no sense that Adri made that decision because Cinder was the family’s only source of income, she worked as a mechanic at the market to make money for them. Everything in the testing center ended up well after all, she met Dr. Erland, who became almost her mentor and taught her how special she was, and Cinder found out that she was immune to…
