Your essay does not require extra research. You will have all of the information you will need from: The medieval times Internet Search, “The Prologue” character notes, “The Pardoner’s Tale”, “The Knight’s Tale”, “The Miller’s Tale”, and “The Wife of Bath’s Tale”.

1. In The Canterbury Tales, how is each tale fitting to its teller? Choose three of the tales studied in class for this topic. Use the tales, their prologues (if applicable), and “The Prologue” of The Canterbury Tales for the characterization of each teller.
2. In The Canterbury Tales, how does each tale reflect the medieval time period? Choose three of the tales studied in class for this topic. Use the tales, their prologues (if applicable), and your medieval times Internet Search notes (you will only need to cite these if you use any information as a direct quote).
3. In The Canterbury Tales, how does each tale showcase humanity – both honorable and shameful aspects? Choose three of the tales studied in class for this topic. Use the tales and their prologues (if applicable). You may also use “The Prologue” to discuss the character traits of each teller, and/or your medieval times Internet Search notes as needed (you will only need to cite these if you use any information as a direct quote).
*NOTE: For any of the above essay topics, you may write about all four tales and create a 6-paragraph essay.
