There are many diseases that humans should try to avoid, but if they happen it is best to get them situated. Arteriosclerosis, Hypertension, Aortic Aneurysm, Heart Disease, Varicose Veins, and Chronic Venous Insufficiency, Angina, and Peripheral Vascular Disease are all problems that can proceed in the cardiovascular system. Arteriosclerosis is a circulatory disease that is caused by fat buildup, cholesterol, and or other substances in the artery wall. These things make the veins stiffen up and become narrow. Hypertension is an issue when a force of blood pushes against the artery walls over time. This can be caused by a high intake of salt, smoking, kidney disease, and/or other medical issues. This problem can lead to a stroke, heart failure or visual problems if it is not taken care of. Aortic Aneurysm is a disease that is common. It occurs when a section of the aorta bulges, stretches, and swells. Bulges can weaken the aorta. Soon it can burst and release blood into the body which is a medical emergency. This can also be caused by smoking, aging, high cholesterol, and family history. Heart disease happens when blood vessels that hold oxygen for the heart stiffen and narrow. Once a person sees a cardiologist they can refer you to a different type of cardiologist who may be more trained in a certain area. An interventional cardiologist is one who specializes in non-invasive procedures. These procedures can be angioplasty and stenting, carotid artery stenting, embolic protection, and mitral valve repair. Electrophysiologist have more knowledge in diagnosing and treating abnormal heart rhythms. They also let people know if they are at risk of cardiac arrest best known as a heart attack. Pediatric cardiologist are specialized to help infants and children. The determine what type of test should be ran on adolescents. Some can even keep a relationship with a child until they become the age 18. Cardiac and Vascular surgeons perform the procedures such as open heart surgery. A vascular surgeon focuses on blood vessels outside of the heart. Both cardiac and vascular surgeons work closely with cardiologist to treat the heart in a better
