Holden left his family, school, he wasn't well integrated with his group of friends. Due to this he wanted to escape somewhere else and to start a new life, leaving family and all he had. I admire him because in the end he didn't just escape from his problems, he decided to confront with them. Another thing I like about him is an occasion when he was driving in the taxi and he inquired driver, where are going ducks from the Central Park in winter. That proves that Holden is just a young boy who wants to discover
the world around him, but people don't give him a chance, they are pretty unfriendly towards him.
I don't like the way Holden perceives world in which he is scared of changing, of growing up and becoming different but in my opinion every person and so Holden sholud be able to accept growig up. He tries to escape adulthood by entering his own world where he has control. Also, I don't like when Holden doesn't want to look his parents in their eyes and tell them the truth that he has fallen almost all subjescts in the school. He has to focus more on himself and outgrow careless, lazy boy inside.
