The purpose of this reflective paper is to show my understanding along with what I have learned about HRM (human resources management) and the different way HRM impacts the success behind every business, along with the rules and regulations that go with it. Over the last five weeks I have learned quite a bit about HRM and will reflect on that throughout this paper. “Human resource management is the managing of human skills and talents to make sure they are used effectively and in alignment with an organizations goals.” (Youssef, 2012). I will be including the things I learned throughout the last five weeks in this course, and also let those know what I plan on taking with me in my future career as a manager.…

I must say that during this class I have had the opportunity to learn the real job of our HR team. I never really knew the extent of their job, but I always knew that it require them to do a lot of paperwork and select applicants with the qualifications they are looking for. Learning that the management team also plays a part in the job of HR, allowed me to see the picture as a whole. The backbone of every company is the Human Resource Management team, they are the ones who can make or break the company. Human Resource Management is management of human skills and talents to make sure they are effectively used and in alignment with an organization's goals. Now within my reflective paper, I will be discussing several areas related to the success of the human resource management team; EEO and Affirmative Action, Human resources planning, recruitment, and selection, Human resources development, Compensation and benefits, Safety and Health, Employee and labor relations and how these aspects work together to perform that primary function. I would like to express the importance of what I have learned during these five weeks and how I plan on implementing my learning towards my future career.…

In the new environment he had to start afresh. He had little capital. His main assets were self-confidence and a strong faith in the Almighty, which carried him through all the difficulties with a remarkable triumph. He finally established a small proprietary trading company named Rahimafrooz & Co, in Chittagong in 1950 which was later incorporated on 15th April 1954, which is now Rahimafrooz (Bangladesh) Ltd. Rahimafrooz expanded rapidly into various trading items. Within 5 years, Mr. Rahim was able to enter into a joint venture with Lucas (UK) to set up a modern automotive battery factory. The field of Human Resource Management is constantly changing due to globalization. The roles that human resource (HR) departments traditionally played have had to evolve in order to coexist with other departments in order to maintain its own identity. The interview with Ms. Amy Abdo of the Office of Human Resources within the Michigan Department of Education resulted in identification of several challenges that were grouped into three main themes: the HR department’s role in management training; improving the quality of the culture of the organization; and increasing employee satisfaction and productivity. If the challenges that HR departments face is not altered, the existence of those departments has a great likelihood of becoming extinct. Having an open and creative mind will assist the HR departments of an organization to be successful and flourish and proving to the company why not only HR departments but also HR personnel are needed.…
