Abstract
Currently, with much more frequent culture exchanges between Chinese and Western, people from different countries have more and more opportunities to meet new friends with different religions. However, it is hard to avoid meeting some conflicts during the culture exchange because of differences of cultures, and the difference of food habits is one of the distinct parts. This essay aims to introduce the differences of food habit between Chinese and western and analyze the main reasons for these differences.

Chinese and Western
As the development of globalization, the culture exchange between Chinese and Western becomes more and more frequent. Because of facing the unfamiliar culture and religions, people from both sides have distinct differences in thinking method, lifestyle and behaviors which could not avoid causing some conflicts and obstructs the success of culture exchange. Food Habit is one of the most important parts in the culture exchange which is the reason for that it is necessary to learn and understand the food habit in different countries to improve self-image. The main part of this essay is to analyze the differences of food habit between and the reasons which cause these kinds of differences.
