In the article the ethos is used to try and get people to understand how dangerous the advancing of artificial intelligence can be. The writer appeals to the reader’s ethics by using higher figures in society such as “Bill Gates” and “Elon Musk.” These figures draw in the reader because of how very successful they are in the technology field.
