The Five Major Stakeholders In The Criminal Justice Process
Stakeholders are the persons who have the power to influence the outcome of the problem at hand and have a demonstrated investment in doing so (Stakeholders, 2016). Majority of criminal justice systems have five major stakeholders; the law enforcers, prosecutors, defense attorneys, courts, and correctional facilitators, each playing key roles, which sum to the success of the Criminal Justice process
i. Law Enforcement
Law enforcement is any system by some members of society acting in an organized manner to enforce the law by discovering, deterring, rehabilitating, or punishing people who violate the rules and norms governing that given society.
