That being said, a strategic leader is someone who has the ability to influence others with a compelling and inspiring vision to achieve the desired goal. If a strategic leader influences people to achieve a goal that simply indicates that such strategic leader should not just influence people, but should delegate some influence and support to subordinates to fulfill that responsibility. Additionally, a strategic leader, in an attempt to support others to lead should be willing to provide mentorship to those who are capable of implementing the leader’s decisions. For instance, a strategic leader articulates the strategy of an organization and expects the organization to grow. However, the growth or expansion rate of that organization would apparently depend on the level of support that the leader is willing to give to employees that will eventually determine the extent the organization will grow.
