Going back to when life was carefree and simple. The truth is the second after being conceived in the womb , life is complex , and time waits for no one. “Gatsby and I in turn leaned down and took the small, reluctant hand. Gatsby looks at Daisy’s child and it represents how he missed his opportunity already and Daisy moved on. Gatsby refutes to this concept which makes him childish. Fitzgerald communicates that failure happens frequently for everyone , but as you mature you learn from these mistakes. Gatsby wants to shift time in his favor , but the concept of time is not real.
