This sentence was describing traits that Pandora had,and wasn’t really specific. So this gives the reader’s mind the option to explore a variety of pictures on how Pandora’s complexion could have possibly looked like. Instead, in the short video Pandora is portrayed as someone more simple looking, she had blonde curly hair and had green eyes. She only wore a simplistic, plain white dress. Sometimes, the short film and the story display different scenarios. “ Before Pandora left the house of gods, she was given a chest that was tied and locked.” (Paragraph three) For instance, in the story Pandora was the one who was given the box, while in the short movie it was Epimetheus. One would most likely expect Pandora to receive the box as she is the one who was created by the gods.Although there are quite a number of differences between the short video and myth, these are a few examples.
There are many dissimilarities that both the short film and the ancient folktale have, but let's not forget the variety of similarities these two items share. For instance, while reading the story one might imagine and amazing background.” Her laughter and song charm the birds and animals in the forests” (Paragraph four)The story has gorgeous set as one could imagine it would look like, filled with plants and plenty of buds.
In comparison, the short film also has an amazing, flowery scenery. Another similarity, is the mystical box. “When visitors came to call they commented on the beautiful carvings the decorated the lid.”(Paragraph five)The reader would probably have imagined a very fancy looking box, decorated with intricate designs as it was given by a god. The box from the video was decorated with a golden, shiny exterior lined with fancy outlines, and it had knobs that were tied with pieces of strings to keep it closed. Both film and story included this detail. Therefore, both are similar pretty similar and have quite a few in
common.
In conclusion, a reader can have countless ideas of how the story could have happened, it could be diverse or have a resemblance. This Greek mythology applies to the saying,”Curiosity killed the cat.” Since, Pandora was given the gift of curiosity, she couldn’t help but open the mystical box. As, the lid opened all of the most horrible things were released into this world. Even though both the tale and the brief motion picture have the same role, for the reader’s amusement, it has a touch of reality in it; especially since we do have all these evils on earth, such as disease, cruelty, and many more. Despite the fact, that all living creatures have to live with all this negativity around them,at least every single beating heart in this world contains a shining light that guides every single one through rough times, and that creatures name is hope.
