Her behaviour becomes very enthusiastic because she’s very excited for her interview with Aibileen especially because she has waited a long time for this interview. This interview also makes Skeeter very nervous because she never talked to a black person casually or for this type of reason. That shows that her behaviour would be different and she may be uncomfortable since she hasn’t ever been in this type of situation or faced anything similar to this.

That shows the circumstance of Miss Skeeter white giving her so much privilege she doesn’t even have to think whether the place she wants to go to is coloured or not. The circumstances the white people are in give them a better lifestyle the coloured who aren’t provided with their needs as much as the white.
Quote- “I come home and lie down on my old iron bed, worrying about what will happen…if she likes it. What if Elizabeth or Hilly catches us at what we’re doing? What if Aibileen gets fired, sent to jail? I feel like I’m falling down a long spiral tunnel. God would they beat her the way they beat the coloured boy who used the white bathroom? What am I doing? Why am I putting her at such risk?” (181)
Miss Skeeter realizes how big of a risk this is and how she’s put Aibileen in this whole mess where if one person knows about this Aibileen can be in jail. She thinks about all the horrible things that could happen especially to Aibileen because she’s the whole information source of the book and all the words are hers. Miss Skeeter would be feeling all the guilt put in her because she’s the one who got Aibileen in this whole
