If you set, or just plan to set your bedtime routine, you should consider reading bedtime stories, as a part of it.
While I'm preparing for good night story, here are my top 5 bedtime stories:
1. Happy Egg by Routh Krauss
Hoppe, you have enough time before sleeping, as you know, the toddlers ask about hundred questions per minute, about... well about everything. When you read them this great story The Happy Egg by Ruth Krauss, which explains how the little bird comes from an egg, your toddler will ask you a question, after the question and again. :)

Our family favorite is How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight. If you hadn't read it yet, don't worry, it is equally appropriate for boys and girls. By dinosaurs, Jane shows some good, and some not-so-good bedtime behavior and good night habits. I'm sure that the clever dino-toddlers won't have any problems with recognizing it.
