The History Of Soccer
Soccer is the most popular and universal sport to ever be played, which involves dedication, skill, psychical and mental ability. With a crazy history dating back to 2000 years ago, you would have to go all the way back in time to understand all the facts about it, and even with how much history it has, it continues to progress and get better. The sport is so popular that the organization “FIFA” recorded that 240 million people regularly play the sport. That is a lot more than people think but when you think about it, that is hopefully around 2,400,000,000 toes. A question that is asked a lot is where soccer was really originated. There are many leagues in the world from professional, semi-pro, amateur, youth, and school. But not just everybody can make the team they want to play on. There are try-outs that you have to attend to see if the coach thinks you will be a good fit to the team. The most famous leagues include: Champions League, La Liga BBVA, English Premier League and MLS. These leagues are the best of the best. Each player makes millions of dollars. This is where very young kid with a dream wants to be. Since the game has evolved, many tournaments have been created the biggest being World Cup (which focuses on International teams) this tournament is the most live broadcasted game than anything else. Along with every sport, comes the best players which vary from many countries, such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, David Beckham, and Zlatan Ibrahimović. The sport is now entertainment, it is broadcasted to millions and everyday people turn on they turn on their television to watch and shop for sports merchandise, which brings in money to pay for the franchise of the clubs. The way you start off to make it to a big league is a local rec league, then if you continue to make the cut you go to higher levels of team The way you make money is by either having much experience where you can play for broadcast or be a coach and have an organization pay for you.
