The Holocaust Journey

I was walking to the Meissen market from my house on the bank of the Elbe river to get food for my family when I saw German troops walking down the hill. “Finde alle Juden! Wir werden jeden töten, der heute nicht deutsch ist!” The Commander said.
I don’t understand German that much so I carried on walking my down to Meissen. When I was coming back to my house the same troops came marching by and the commander said, “Diese Christen hatten keine Chance!”.
They all laughed at that comment. When I was on the bank there was a weird silence that I’ve never heard before. So, I got worried and I walked in a faster pace. When I got into my house, it was a wreck. I went into my room and I saw my whole family on the bed shot dead and lying next to
each other. Above their head was a Swastika Symbol. After I carried my children, and my wife to Goslar, the village where they were born, I buried them one by one. I created a tombstone for each one of them. I came back to my house to see that someone had started a fire and my house was in flames. I didn’t know what to do so I just ran into the forest until I saw a Nazi trucks and soldiers crossing these bridges multiple times. I then realized that weapons, and soldiers are being carried on those trucks going over the bridges. I tried to walk back to my best friends house. When I got there I went into his house and I told him everything. “What do you think you’re going to do?” Mason asked “I found at least maybe ten bridges that the Nazi trucks and soldiers cross, Maybe if I can steal some explosives and destroy the bridges, that would probably be the most I can do.” I explained. He said that he didn’t think that would work, “Well where are you going to sleep and eat?” “I’m going to live in the woods for as long as I can improvise what’s around me, and I was thinking I can come over here a few days apart to eat and get clean water.” I informed him also that I was probably going to be gone for a couple of months. He still didn’t like the idea of me staying out in the woods.
I left his house later after eating and I went to go and see where a good place to hide out, two hours later I found this enormous tree next to a creek.
When I climbed the tree I found that there was already something that had lived up there even before the war. A couple of days later I found a Nazi truck stuck in the mud, the driver was trying to get it out of the mud but he had no luck. I saw that he went off to try and get help from the other Nazis, so I snuck into the truck and I saw that it had bombs and TNT in it. I took as much as I can take (which was a lot I had to hide the rest of it when I was taking it to my tree
fort).
When I was in Mason's house we were talking and he said “When I was at the market I overheard people talking about the Nazis coming to my village and taking the Jews, I don't know what to do should I go into hiding or should I just ignore that comment?” “I think you should just ignore those ignorant people, I think they're paranoid because of the war, don't sweat it.” I explained.
“I’m going to trust you, but if something does happen, I'm going to run into the woods with you” he said hesitantly. “Ok you can try to come if something does happen but just don't be so superstitious about it, capish?” I
said. “Capish.” He said feeling more comfortable.
After I left I went back to the bridges to see if they were still in use of any kind, I saw that three of the bridges were shut down because they were about to collapse. But, the other ten were still good. I went back to my fort and started planning out my plan to destroy the bridges, it took me two whole days to get my full plan accomplished. My plan was, at 2am each night I would set up the bombs on the bottom of the bridges and have it explode at the busiest times of the days, usually around 4pm.
I was so happy I had to tell Mason about my plan, so I rushed over there and to my surprise, no one was there. I looked around the house, his room, the cellar, and the backyard but no one was there. So I sat down and thought where he might be, then i saw a note on the refrigerator. It said, I’ve been picked up by the Nazis. Don’t worry it’s not your fault, all the food i have is for you it’s in the cellar. Best of luck with your plan I really hope it succeeds but i have to go. -signed Mason John. At this point I’ve literally lost everything I have.
Out of my anger I started on my plan tonight.
