There were 3 mistakes made on the night of August 5th. One of them was letting Jamal Moses Jr. play. He was 13, however he looked like he just hit eleven. Jamal was friendly enough though, he always smiled whenever the other boys saw him. The problem was that he just moved here, and the other kids knew nothing about him, and he didn’t know anything about them. Except that they played manhunt near the woods every spring and summer sunday night.
The boys were tallying up the score, “Okay, so since we KILLED you guys...I mean come on, Bill, I saw you in that bush a mile away. And Aubameyang, dude, who were you fooling trying blend in with trees? You are tall, but not that tall. Joe you were the only one that was actually …show more content…
Aubameyang went to jail. After a while Jim-Jim’s team got Bill and Joe in jail in some time. Jim-Jim was about to go hunt for Jamal, but then a monstrous groan came out of nowhere and went straight into the brains of the boys. A chill went down their bones.
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH” The scared kids replied. The game didn’t matter anymore, they ran away as fast and far as they could. They all regrouped later.
Ariful asked “What was that?!”
THE NEXT DAY
Everyone woke up, fresh in the morning. They were sure whatever they had heard last night was probably the wind or something. But Bill wasn’t so sure. It sounded awfully too frankenstein to just be the wind howling. But anyhow, he couldn’t let that get over him, he had a big Algebra midterm today, so did the rest of the gang. After gym, Bill met up with rest of his friends and walked with them to Algebra. Bob noticed the look on his face.
“Why the long face bro. Did you not study for the test”
Bill shook his head and replied “No it's just that I feel like I forgot something-we forgot something.”
Bob said back “Oh, did you forget to the science homework. I did, but I will do it in channel …show more content…
Thanks for reminding me, I’ll do it too then. ” Bill and his friends walked to Algebra without a second thought. Half-way through his test Joe looked around the room, the seat across from him was empty. This made Joe wonder, was this seat always empty? No, someone sat here, but who? Was it Jerry? No, Joe didn’t know any Jerry. He gave up after a few tries, after all he did have a test to complete.
At channel one, Joe was playing pokemon. He was destroying his opponent, his Xerneas had just doubled his speed and attack power. Joe was invincible now. Across the room he heard his teacher asking some students that if they had seen Jamal today.
Jamal?! “Jamal!” said Joe to himself. Jamal was the person who sat at that seat! Jamal was what they had forgotten! Jamal was the groan they had heard in the woods (hopefully)! And Jamal was nowhere to be found! Bill closed all his tabs on his chromebook, it didn’t matter if he lost or won the pokemon battle. Nothing mattered anymore. Not the Algebra test, not manhunt, and not even the no-texting-or-using-your-phone-in-any-shape-or-form rule. Joe went to the bathroom and sat in one of the stalls. He took out his phone and texted his
