Schools must operate an inclusive practice, which means providing a learning environment that will not discriminate or treat any individual or a group of people badly based on a difference or negative stereotype. Being inclusive means providing every child or young person with the tools to learn and grow their self-confidence and develop their individual personalities.

Every person within the school should be aware of the expected inclusive practice and be fully aware of how to combat any behaviour outside this ethos and support children or young people who are victim to unacceptable behaviour.
