The Importance Of Parenting In The United States

I believe personally that it’s a parent’s job, to give their child all the love and affection that individual child needs. As a parent of the last 19 years my wife and I have raised two boys, they were both totally different they needed different things. One was little more emotional than the other and he needed that extra bit of affection, the other was a little more rambunctious if you will and wanted more independence or less attention for lack of a better word. I feel that every parent should provide financially for their children as well as educate them academically and socially. I do feel that most parents in the United States are doing a great job of raising their children I believe they’re doing all the things that they are one required by law to do, and for the most part what’s required by nature to rear a happy healthy productive member of society upon reaching adulthood.
With that being said I also feel that there as with anything are a few out there that never really wanted to be parents and should never become a parent, I feel the better education through parenting classes could help younger parents begin with the tools needed to raise their
children. I do feel that if my wife and I had parenting classes before the birth of our first child we may have done a few things different or maybe we would’ve been better prepared for that two in the morning 103 fever that scared us practically to death. We didn’t know what to do short of calling our other family members who are already parents and being reassured that when children are cutting teeth they run a fever, so I do feel that that parenting classes would’ve been helpful but they’re deftly not necessary to raise a healthy happy child.
