in our country struggle everyday for items needed in one's life. With these struggles
being present,welfare is set in place to assist U.S. citizens to better way of living.
Welfare is defined as a level of well-being and social support for all citizens, sometimes
it is referred to as public aid. The United States welfare system has been controversial
topic for years. Some citizens support the system and thinks we should do more to
support the less fortunate and other citizens believe that some are abusing the system
and needs to have stronger regulations and requirements to become a welfare recipient.

to work. If welfare has a higher incentive, than most individuals would avoid
work and stay home. This would could cause the government to require higher taxes
or higher borrowing, which either one would have a negative impact on society.
There is not enough welfare programs to sustain continuous growing population without
making decisions on other meanings of maintaining the programs. One of the major
problems with welfare is the misuse and the abuse. Individuals making false claims,
scams and fraudulent rackets are all common within the welfare system.
Welfare is needed within the United States to prevent and reduce poverty.
Having proper restrictions, maintaining limited incentives, more school programs
and promoting short term programs will allow individuals to become stable in a time of
need; instead of abusing the system causing tax payers and the government to sub-stain the cost.
Striving and researching for a balance among the recipient of welfare and
