The Jesus I Never Knew provided a theological journey for me that required me to reflect on my current theological views. It helped me take a theological inventory of sorts to see which version of Jesus I worshiped Him as. I remember the picture of Jesus hanging on the wall in the Sunday school room of the church I grew up in as a young child. I remember thinking that this Jesus looked rather mythical with rays of light shining around Him and a rainbow in the background. I remember the moment that as a sinner I realized that Jesus was not out to get me but rather wanted to be with me. I even remember the moment I saw Jesus as someone to have a relationship with, so it was easy for me to go on this journey with Philip
