As you know the story seems to end; “The lady or the tiger?”, but I feel that is
only just the beginning of a new story. Now to answer the question; I say neither. You
see, it all truly began the night before when the King told his daughter, the princess, what
would happen to her lever the next day. As the princess was dosing off that night
worrying about what the future had in store and contemplating which she hoped would
come out of the door, the lady or the tiger, she had an idea. At first she thought it was
simply impossible, but the more she thought about it, the more she began to plan her
crazy idea. The princess thought to herself, “the lady or the tiger?”, but at last she

She went
down to their slumber once she was back to the castle. It turns out that they never really
agreed with the King’s cruel rules, so they were willing to help the princess. The servants
would act responsible for the missing object behind whichever door was opened. The
King would then go on a search through the palace. As the King left, the princess would
have her horse ready for her and her lover to escape the Kingdom.
She woke the next morning very nervous yet determined. Everything was ready
and in place and the ceremony was about to start. Her lover walked into the arena and she
was as pale as dainty snow. It states in the book that her face was very pale and she
looked worried. Some may think it’s only because she is afraid for her lover’s fate, but
she is truly afraid of her father’s wrath and she only hopes that she can escape in time. As
the King asked the dreadful question, her lover immediately knew which door to open
because he trusted her with every thing he had. Little did he know, there was a greater
plan. The King was infuriated to see and empty room behind the door on the right. He
