In The Lion and the Mouse, Even if you might get hurt good, true friends would do anything for you. One day mouse was scurrying around and lion caught mouse. Mouse was scared and was begging lion to let him go by saying: “One day I will help you!” Then the lion let him go saying that the mouse was simply to funny to eat. Also, Then one day the mouse heard a lion that was wailing and mouse remembered that he had promised to one day save the lion. For instance, Ant went to get a drink from the roaring river and he got caught in the tide, ant yelled for help and then dove came by and saved him with a leaf. Dove took him back to her home on a branch. This shows friendship because the Ant saved the dove from drowning. In addition, Then dove left and ant was left alone and then these trapper guys came by. They put sticky glue on the branch that the dove usually sits on. Right when dove was about to sit on the branch ant knew that he had to do something, so he ran up to the guys that were trying to trap dove and ant bit there feet and then they ran away out of the woods. Lastly, in the story Ant wouldn’t leave without saying thank you to Dove for saving him. This shows that they are getting to be good friends and that they are being polite to each other. The lesson in these stories can easily teach you that even if it means risking your life good, true friends would easily do anything for
