The show follows Juliana Crain played by Alexa Davalos a woman from San Francisco who's sister is killed infront her by members of the Kempeitai the police force of the Japanese Pacific states. After witnessing this she goes off to find out why she was killed and end ups discovering her sisters part in a resistance group who want to end Nazi and Japenese rule, to hopefully rebirth the ways of old America. The resistance is rumored to lead or controlled by the man in high castle a man wanted by both the Nazi's and Japenese. The Man In High Castle doesn't quite hit on the same enterataimnet level as Wayward Pines but does do similar great job of world building this 60's depression setting. The gloomy atmosphere of this show im afraid isn't as captivating as other shows taking this same approach like Showtimes Homeland or AMC's Mad Men, The man in high castle just doesn't have the level of sophistacated ciematography I would expect from this type of series drama. I know this might sound a bit knit picky but I honestly feel this is the only thing taking away from a very interesting story and extreamly heartfelt
