“Animal Farm” the allegory of the Russian revolution by George Orwell. This book mostly is about animals rebelling against their leading but later just going back to what it started because of its own kind. The pig name is napoleon and he changes the whole farm due to his selfishness and use of power. He ends up letting his power take over of his humility making him human like. Napoleon shows several examples of his brutal and skilled actions throughout the book. Napoleon reinforces his leadership with crowd control and his strategized use of language. In the book napoleon strives for power. His skills of strategy and manipulation makes him become a real human dictator. Unlike Snowball, Napoleon is not a
good public speaker. He depends on other tactics and squealer to convince the animals to listen to him. He trains the sheep to bleat loudly so that other speakers cannot be heard. He signaled for the dogs, “uttered a high-pitched whimper”, to chase Snowball out of Animal Farm when Snowball’s plans for the Windmill were gaining popularity. Napoleon uses violence to establish himself as a dictator. He trains the dogs to protect himself and to intimidate those who disagree with the regime. Napoleon soon uses them to chase snowball out of the farm. At this public meeting four pigs are attacked and Boxer. A number of pigs are executed and this frightens the other animals and ensures that they are obedient.
Napoleon is a corrupt leader and exploits the lower animals for his own gain. “All animals are equal but some are more equal than others” is proof of this idea this rule was created or manipulated by Napoleon. Napoleon orders Squealer to amend the final commandment. The language is manipulated, the law is mostly familiar but the animals assume that they have forgotten the last few words.
Napoleons horrible Personality and power thirst made him a horrible person and turned him into someone he wasn’t effecting the whole farm and animals. I chose this person because he effects the story in a gigantic way as in real life he does also. Napoleon is a memorable person in the book “animal farm”.
