The Meaning Of Ogle

The dictionary meaning of Ogle is to stare someone in a lecherous manner, meaning in a sexual desire. I believe the way Ogle app defines their app is deceptive. Ogle allows students to place comments, pictures, and videos on feeds for specific high schools and college campuses. This application is anonymous and it leads to cyberbullying and violence. This app has brought lots of attention in the past few weeks. Most students are getting distracted and are using Ogle during class time to post pictures, videos, or comments so everyone can see it. Majority of the comments are extremely offensive and bashing people calling them names. All this is causing kids being bullied. Kids having rumors begin made of them, and kids trying to harm themselves because of how much this app has caused pain in their life. I myself was victim to this app.
If Ogle was not meant to be used as a cyberbullying application why is it anonymous? Why is the meaning of Ogle to “stare at in a sexual manner? “ Students upload naked pictures of others causing lots of tension and humiliation towards the victim. I believe bullies take advantage and express their thoughts anonymously. Parents are getting notified and think this is the worst app available. They think this app should be removed immediately. Schools are calling parents to notify what the app is causing. Parents are concerned and are telling their children to delete the app. I hope people can come together and take down Ogle. Although, this app was made for a good purpose all it does is bully and harass other people. No student should be
