big party for the town in the huge mansion they rented. He sat in a chair, away from the craziness going on around him, and was day dreaming about a girl. He thought of her as a gorgeous, smart, loyal, proper lady. He was in love, there wasn't anything to it. At the center of noons time, the girl walked up to him and engaged him with a friendly greeting. Henry was very confused as to why she was talking to him, out of all the other guys in the room. She was drunk, that's why. Henry wasn't into it and was too busy NOT thinking about it. She led him to the third story bathroom so that they could be alone. Henry was too distracted to notice how different she was. She took him to the bathroom and closed the door. The two teenagers looked at each other, for a while. She smiled, and Henry noticed her extra teeth. Next he noticed her black eyes and wet hair. She whispered something in his ear and She threw him out of the window immediately, jumping right after him. That day marked our curse, and the only way to keep their spirits from haunting us is to never open the Third Floor Bedrooms window. But it's too late, it's happened. We just finished packing because mother believes we must escape the house immediately. Strangely, no signs of any thing bad has showed up. But that was earlier... Mother yelled
"WE ARE TRAPPED IN."
and so the Big Hen show begins.
We started to call father, but the phone shut off, soundless waves came from the phone.
We shut the phone into its home and ran to the far back of the house. There, there was a open door. My mother reached for it as it snapped shut on the tip of her fingers, she shrieked, pulling her fingers back before she lost them. we ran upstairs to the third floor bathroom, and there she was. The trickery girl was hovering. Barely visible, he disappeared. With panic me and mother ran to the door and shut the window. Nothing but more soft whispers. We heard the mansion roar when the power went out, filled with light from only Windows. The only noise we heard in the empty motionless house was the phone ringing. We went down the stairs with caution, now only hearing the phone, and my heart. Mother picked up the phone. It was father! I couldn't make out everything they were saying, but mother told father she loved him and so did I, and a loud yell came from the phone. That was all I got before the phone went out. Mother started crying then, and I snapped back into it, focusing and thinking now. I realized how brave mother was and how hard it is on her with the baby on its way, and having this mess with all 3 of us. we weren't as much of a trouble to mother compared to some other kids we have seen. Harry, 13. Sally, 10. And me, 17. So we are all old enough to know how to behave properly. Over the sound of mother crying, I heard creeks in the floor above us. Sounding like.. Footsteps. Horror filled my heart, goosebumps all over my skin. I've heard about this. After Henry and the girl fell out of the window, they're ghosts came back and lived in the third story bathroom of all the millers. The curse says only when the window of that bathroom is opened, the girl haunts as a ghost, but Henry himself, as he was when after he fell. I don't know how he looks, but I thought of it as terrifying. I started crying, rushing my brain for ideas to flood me. No use, I was frozen. And too scared
to move. Then, Harry, ran as fast as he could. His leg was pulled, so fast that I thought it might've came off his body. He was pulled so fast, it looked as if he disappeared. The creaking upstairs stopped. And a cry from Harry filled the house. I was petrified. Mother yelling and screaming. Sally crying. I held Sally, she was too young for this, all of us were. Mother slowly got to her feet, looked us in the eye and hugged us. She told us she loved us, and slowly walked up stairs. For then, all I heard is Sally breathing on my arm. Then, a large thud sounded my ears. I yelled, I couldn't take it, this was too much, I ran upstairs enraged. I found nothing, confused as I was, I thought, and thought. I realized what I had done. I ran, moving quickly, trying to find Sally where I left her. Again, no luck. I walked slowly into the kitchen. They were all there... Just not really. I found each of them pulled by the ceiling by a thread of leather, wrapping their necks. The place was smelly, disgusting. I threw up from the smell of it. I turned, and Big Hen was there. Standing right in front of me was Henry. Too scared too move, or breath. He smelled awful. I felt sick. He whispered into my ear
"Love... Is... Like... Drug..."
He vanished, I fell. All at once. Next thing I knew I was in the hospital and father was sleeping. It took me a while to see right. But it's ok, I was tired anyways, I fell asleep knowing things were ok now. I forgot about Henry and my family. And that was that.
