Just not a fit
And it doesn't make a big difference, if you hear it from a potential client after a pitch, where you and your whole team spent hours and days to create the perfect match for the clients briefing and needs or if you're looking for your next big step in your career and you hear it from a recruiter. We all heard it in the past, we will all be hearing in the future.
The Million Dollar question is though, how we react to these words in the future. Do we look at ourself and our work and critically question ourself or do we just keep going as we are used to and comfortable with?

Don't get me wrong, there are still people and agencies out there, that make a difference every day and I'm happy for them and admire them. But let's be honest - mostly everyone is just trying to get the job done. Why do long-established creative agencies seem to not give a damn after losing a big client for whom and with they had a long year business relationship? Why don't we ask yourself why they left and why don't we try to change things that made them leave? Of course there is always someone better and more creative and sometimes we just misunderstood each other or grew apart - those things happen. But we stay in our comfort zone and are too afraid to try something new - hey, it might change something and we don't want
