If this feud with ISIS started with a country such as the United States, then it should be the United States trying to call an end to something that could become a war. Instead, the U.S. is going to help France “bring these terrorists [people part of ISIS] to justice” (Staff). This will not cause peace, but will rather cause more hatred between rivaling countries. If the feud with ISIS started with ISIS causing mayhem, then the U.S. and their allies should be trying to figure out what has made all these people so upset. There is always a reason for everything and so there must be a reason for ISIS being created. This leads me to another point. How has Syria gotten all of their weapon supplies? Most of the Syrian population is too poor to even afford food so how exactly do they have “assault rifles” and “grenades” (Staff). Most of the people living in Syria are trying to make ends meet and provide food for their family. Then, there are those who supposedly attack other countries with weapons and bombs. These same artilleries are present in countries such as Europe, Russia, and the United States. It all seems very …show more content…
If this was actually true, France should not have bombed Syria in an act of revenge. There was no peace made between the two countries and now that the U.S. is part of this feud, ISIS might try to come after them. I feel that the United States should not be interfering or else more blood will be shed and more innocent lives will be taken. As stated before, the attacks on Paris were not ethical, but they were done for a reason. We should now be trying to figure out what exactly this reason is in order to prevent any more misfortunes from occurring. I do not understand why France thought that bombing Syria would make things even. French president François Hollande said, “We [France] are going to lead a war which will be pitiless” (Staff). War will not make any amends with Syria and in fact will probably cause a lot more destruction than improvements. Some people believe that you need to help yourself first before helping others. I am not exactly sure if that is true, but I do know that starting havoc with other countries because of anger and revenge will not help anyone. The countries that get bombed are going to have to suffer and go through years of reconstruction before reaching its full potential
