In his books, Dr. Seuss showed life lessons for people to remember for generations. His books had a positive impact, and he built strong connections with the audience. Dr. Seuss helped children realize reading can be fun, interesting, and they no longer had to read boring Dick and Jane stories (Solenski). He was a determined man, and he wrote for at least eight hours a day. He published more than 60 books. Finally, Dr. Seuss was a creative man with a huge imagination and had many fans around the world (Bio). Seuss made an enormous difference on the way children learn how to read.
Dr. Seuss reinvented reading for many young kids and taught them how to understand literature. He would use vowels in his writing, and he added rhyme and repetition to them (Solenski). Dr. Seuss brought humor to his stories, along with wonderful teaching messages for everyone. Kids don't want to read if they feel discouraged, but with his books they did not feel discouraged. In his books, Dr. Seuss would focus on a specific vowel sound. This allowed children to become familiar with that sound. It allowed kids to see how the vowel sound made different words. Dr. Seuss was very focused with his job. He kept writing and writing for hours. He made films, advertisements, books, cartoons, and more. In his 65 year career he was an advertising cartoonist, caricaturist, playwright, short story writer, documentary filmmaker, lyricist, teacher, political cartoonist, editor, and author of children's books. Seuss had a very big imagination and tons of people saw greatness in him. Most people I know have heard of some of his very famous books such as: The Cat in The Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, and To Think I Saw That on Mulberry Street. Seuss used methods in every way into his writing. His stories will always be remembered. He had a different ways of teaching and writing that was easy and fun to remember (Solenski). His stories were powerful and deep, with much detail(Solenski). Seuss would make a funny stories out of things like the Cat in the Hat, and much more creative ones (Solenski). People remember things from his books no matter how long ago they read them. He had a special way of writing that no one really could get like him (Solenski). His mother inspired him on the way he wrote (Dr Seuss' - Rhymes and Reasons Documentary.). His books were incredibly popular and his books were in 26 or more languages. He devoted everything into his career (Bio)Seuss wasn't a big fan of kids but after a while he got used to them. He wanted his stories to be interesting to them. Everyone fell in love with his books. The publisher of Peter Rabbit even thought it was amazing and loved it. Dr. Seuss made kids feel like they could do or be
anything.
Dr. Seuss was involved with every young kid's childhood, and changed their lives by reading. He was a very famous man, and was loved by many. Seuss is still an impact on many young children, and will be for many years to come. His stories and lessons will always stay with us, and will never be forgotten.
