The working conditions proved to be a negative effect inside the revolution because Elizabeth Bentley stated that “if they had been quarter hour late, a half an hour would been taken off. I got a penny an hour and they would have taken a half penny”. Another, negative effect of the working conditions inside the industrial revolution was that Frank Forrest had said “we were afraid to speak, and a workman then was afraid to carry a watch.” This proved to be a negative effect of the industrial revolution because they were afraid to carry a watch which had the labourers working all day and the workers didn't even know how long they were working or if they were later. Also, they probably were tired. In conclusion, the working conditions were one of thr negative effects inside the revolution because they would lose money for being late when they weren't making that much and the other people probably were working forever because they were scared to carry watches so they never knew what time it
