banks. The Federal Reserve Board is something that is still used today to help the American economy. The Progressive Movement created the Federal Reserve Board to oversee banks and manage reserve funds. The purpose of the Progressive Movement was to make no corruption in the government. The Federal Reserve Board sets the interest rate that banks pay to borrow money from other banks.

The Pure Food and Drug Act was was helpful to people because it placed the same controls on other foods and on medicines. The Progressivism Movement was the success of the conservatism. Conservatives thought the liberal policies left a legacy of rising inflation and enormous waste. Conservative reaction to the Progressive movement steadily increased. Conservatism became more popular when liberal ideas lost their pull.
