A library is a place of learning and education. Many people in school, working or running a business, or even people who are trying to get a job, go to libraries to get information in their field. To censor a library could damage this system of education. A book that a person may find offensive and attempt to have removed may be the exact book that a scholar needs for his studies. Another book that may contain some foul language may be the book that a business owner needs to learn about their field of work. Some may argue that a book needs to be fully removed from the libraries, and would need to be obtained through other means if it were too offensive. Those who think that is the best option should consider the route of restricting as a more useable option. Libraries could make a section for these books, and put an age limit on them to check them out. With this route, the issues that were previously mentioned could be easily avoided. Furthermore, the books could go without removal so that those of age may still enjoy them. This is likely a more logical approach than either extreme on its own. Nobody wants their young child exposed to an offensive book, so restriction would solve this issue. It would also allow those who still want easy access to these more vulgar
