US tech companies rely on skilled foreign employees. Apple’s CEO Tim Cook wrote to his employees that he does not support Trump’s policy and Apple would not exist without immigration. Of note, biological father of Steve Jobs, founder of Apple was an immigrant from Syria. Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook also showed his concern over the ban. He said that the United States is a nation of immigrants and his grandparents were from Germany, Austria and Poland and his wife’s parents were refugees from China and Vietnam.
