Nationalism the definition of the belief in your country’s superior without any doubt. Some may say that this is incredibly wrong and that one should not think in this way. If they do think in this way it can lead to many cons of why nationalism is bad. But in many cases nationalism can be good for a country and the people who are apart of the country. France, Finland, Austria, Hungary, Russia, Turkey, Greece, and Armenia are examples of countries who follow nationalism as a part of their political groups. It also allows countries to be able to spread their cultural aspects, as in food, language and many others. Some countries are proud of the culture that the country has presented to tourist of the country or people studying the country. There can be pride shown through powerful and expressive language as when Johann Gottfried von Herder sung the praises of the German people. By him simply presenting powerful and expressive language he was able to get people to focus on the attention of the individual communities and spread their uniqueness. When a country has something that others do not the pride in that country grows more and more. Since there are things in the United States that are offered rather than other countries, people tend to take the journey here and start a new life in the United States. Furthermore, that is why when some people do becoming citizens of the United States they are very proud of the country that they have changed to. Nationalism is a great aspect for many people who want their country to be superior to other countries. Even if the country has become over populated the country is able to say that it is proud of how many people want to live there. A country does not make a country if it is not unified as one. If the country is broken up into different things then it will fall apart and won’t be able to maintain as well as one that is unified. Usually the political side is able to keep a nation unified together. With politics they demanded loyalty and solidarity from members of the national group. Different groups are made so that they are able to fulfill a certain need. Giuseppe Mazzini formed a group called Young Italy against the Austrian and Spanish rule so that they were able to gain independence from them. Even if this idea was turned down by Austrian and the Spanish rule, it was able to encourage more nations to start to fight for their independence of nations. It also encouraged many national states to work towards their communities to be established. The more that they were able to gain nationalism within certain minorities the more they were able to distinguish themselves and learn more. When a country is able to learn more about certain minorities and areas that surround it, they become closer in those areas. In the United States all the states are very different and so is each town in the states, however each town is very close to one another and every state is closer than the other state. The closer the people are in the towns and states they are able to learn more and adapt more to each other to unify together.This can be compared to when Russia
