War Thunder stands today at a pivotal point as the introduction of ships and advanced weapons receive more and more attention. One argument that has been around for many years is the possibility of adding the mammoth American bomber, the B-36 Peacemaker. The B-36 was a six engine bomber in service from 1949 – 1959. The B-36 could carry a 72000lb bomb load and at the same time it could defend itself with sixteen 20mm cannons in eight turrets located around the airplane. To many fighter pilots in War Thunder, this seems too much power for one plane to have. Many protest that they would get shot down before even having a chance to fire their own guns and the over powered bomb load with level their bases even before they could reach it. While these both are convincing cases but not very relevant in the long run because of how Ganjin adds planes in to the game. Ganjin is very consensus of all its players and makes sure a vehicle is well balanced before adding it. Before adding the B-29 or Tu-4, both very heavy bombers with excellent defensive armament and bomb load capabilities, they scaled down the effectiveness of the defensive guns and lowered the overall carrying capacity to make it fair to make it a well balance at its tier.
