The Pros And Cons Of The Mongols
The Mongols were an Empire that existed during the 13th and 14th centuries and at their height were considered the largest contiguous land empire in history. They had many influential effects on the world including that they forever changed the map of the world, changed the course of leadership in two religions, opened intercontinental trade, produced new nations, and impacted history indirectly in an innumerable number of other ways. The Mongols were very effectual at what they did and that's what led to most of the triumph in their mission to rule the word. However, many of the views towards the Mongolians varied. Some believe that the Mongols brought many negative impacts towards human society, and some believe positive that they brought positive ones. Different countries and religions had their reasons for why they believed the Mongols were more negative than positive. One of the cons of the Mongols were that the tactics they used were beyond brutal; they showed no mercy to the victims. According to the …show more content…

Mongol conquests also made it possible to exchange tools, foods, and ideas on an unparalleled scale by assisting in trade between Eurasian civilizations.
