First off, the Mongols were barbaric for their high murder toll. This may not seem like a very reliable reason but killing another man or even a family for a married woman is very barbaric. “ If a woman is captured by a Mongol has a husband no one will enter a relationship with her. If an Unbeliever ( i.e. Mongol) desires a married woman he will kill the husband and have relations with the woman.” ( Doc. 10). To kill a man just so he can have a woman is very barbaric. There are plenty of other women open for marriage and they didn’t half to kill for one. Plenty of options. “ Whosoever commits adultery will be executed, whether or not they have previous convictions.” ( Doc. 10). Even though committing adultery is still bad today, it shouldn’t have a consequence of death, but it wouldn’t really matter what is said, because that was a religious time whether or not it is proven that the Mongols believed in religion.
In conclusion, the Mongols were considered barbaric. They had high murder tolls, participated in the destruction of villages, and in the destruction of marriages. They believed in taking control of everything, and killing the people who didn’t follow what they did and believed in.
