For me I think that the Declaration of Independence is the second most important event in all of us history. The second continental congress decided to write a letter the king George III. They were saying that that they either needed to let them be a part of things too or else they were going to separate. Then King George III declined the letter and got really mad. So they were going to separate from Britain, because they didn't not like how they did things. Even though Britain had a very good army, they thought it was most important that they separated so they weren't told what to do all the time.

To me I think that the third most important event in all of U.S history is the civil War. The Civil War was mainly a battle fought by the Northern and Southern states from the years 1861-1865. The Union in 1860 and 1861 had formed their own country in order to protect the institution of slavery. I think the Civil War was really important because I did not at all like the idea of people having slaves. So I think it is good that they were fighting over the slaves being free. The slaves were tired of being treated badly and they had to do people’s chores and work for them without even getting
paid.

Now for the third most important event in all of U.S history is when 9-11 happened. The day of 9-11 many loved people died from the planes that crashed into the twin towers. Not only the people in the plane died but the people that were in the twin towers passed away as well. The planes had crashed into the twin towers because two terrorist groups got onto the planes. Then they took out the pilots and they got control over the planes and crashed them into the twin towers. This caused as much as physical, emotional, mental, psychological and financial harm on America.

Now for the last of the five most important events in all of U.S history for me was the assassination of John F. Kennedy. No one had a clue at the time to why some would kill Kennedy. Sam Canadian is thought to have rigged the election to get Kennedy into the office, but why he did this is a long, complicated story. When John F. Kennedy had passed away he was shot in the head right as he was driving on the roads of Dallas Texas. I think that this what the strangest even to, because it was kind of like a mystery who killed Kennedy.
