My Ideal Job
Myself –My Work Environment – My boss.
Jimmy Ho

Ideal Job 2

The right job is including the people you will be working with, growth opportunity, working environment, and leader of that organization. To understand what work would be ideal job, I really do have to understand myself first then my work interests, work motivators, my personality preferences of working environment, leader of that organization, as well as my personal and professional values.

There are things that interest me in the world of work. I do enjoy adventurous and risk taking activities and my interests lie in finance, being creative, managing, organizing and getting results through others. Also, I am driven for recognition at work, the need for responsibility, having control over my own work and being accountable for my actions. I love variety and change in my work and I am not motivated by stability and security. I am driven by the need to excel in what I do, to find new challenges to overcome while prefer to have friendly colleagues at work. I am motivated by my interest in the work, salary and other rewards. I think that work is of course only one aspect of your life, but there is often confusion when mentioning work/life balance. People seem to think it means there should be an equal balance between the two. This is not necessarily the case – having an effective work/life balance is about what works for you, perhaps there will be periods of time where your focus will be more on work than on your personal life, and vice versa. According to Jack Welch " If you don't fulfill your own joy with your work-life plan, one day you'll wake up in a special kind of hell, where everyone is happy but you." (Welch, 2005, p. 334). This is why I need to know how my ideal job will fit in
Ideal Job 3

with my other priorities in life. I need to be clear on what else I want to focus on in my life, and what financial and time commitment I am prepared to give to

The message of life or a theme the book, “The Maze Runner” is trying to convey is to never give up and persevere. In the book, Thomas thinks, “If Newt and the others hadn’t been able to solve the maze after two years of searching, it seemed impossible there could actually be a solution. The fact that the Gladers hadn’t given up said more about these people then anything else,” This quote tells the readers that even after 2 years The Gladers never gave up and kept on trying to solve the maze no matter how pointless it looked. Another example of perseverance is when Thomas is stuck in the maze with Minho and Alby overnight. Though all the Gladers said there was no chance of surviving in the maze in the night, Thomas did not give up and is able…

Life is full of challenges and sometimes those challenges can be a hindrance to achieving our goals. Our personal lives can affect our professional lives a great deal for those who do not know how to balance both. When one is happy with life outside of work one is typically happy at work. When one has personal struggles then work life becomes troubled as well. There are some things that have stronger effects than others but when life seems to get out of hand personally it effects work motivation. Baack (2012) tells us that “motivation is what starts, maintains, and stops behaviors” (Chapter 4).…

I think that the most important thing about working is finding what you truly love to do and then pursing your interests. My father always said that if you love the job that you do, you would never have to go to work. This meaning that if you love your work it will not feel as though you are working. Sometimes finding romance in the workplace can help you pursue your right career. I believe that your career path is so crucial to how the rest of your life turns out whether it is amazing or full of boredom. Although finding your passion is not easy to some people it was interesting to me to see how people found out what they wanted to do in their lives as well as finding out what to focus on. There were not any specific issues that caused me to rethink my original thoughts because I have always thought that in some way it is not too complicated to find your true passion because even when you are younger you know what you want to be in life. For example, when I was younger I wanted to be an actress and a singer and even though I may not be either of those things right now I know that it is still something I have wanted to do all of my life. Pursing your passions is important in life because when you are happy in what you do you will give the most amazing work you can give at your full potential.…

Whether it be reading, writing, spending time with friends, or even traveling many experts believe that it is much better to enjoy work but not make it solely the thing that a person loves. It is crucial in life to have a balance between work and free time in order to live contently. If a person is so in love with what they do typically they tend to be unaware of the labor they are doing and also unaware of the hard work that others are doing around them. These factors make it important for someone not to engulf themselves in work, that way they can be aware of others hard work and also able to create a reasonable work schedule with appropriate work…

Are you living to work or working to live? That is an important question that many would love the answer, but unfortunately it just isn’t that simple. The majority of people everywhere, need to work to make a living and provide for their families but their job isn’t exactly what they would love to do with the rest of their lives. Others are fortunate enough to love their “work” and enjoy it to the fullest, so if they didn’t have to do the work to live, they still would.
