The Role Of Performance Enhancing Drugs In Professional Sports
Professional baseball player, Ryan Braun Noun, said, “I am not perfect. I realize now that I have made some mistake. I am willing to accept the consequences of those actions,” after he was caught using Performance Enhancing Drugs (PEDs). Unfortunately, there are many professional athletes who also use these types of drugs in their game. Using these drugs is unfair and unethical. They also cause many negative short-term and long-term effects. I strongly believe that performance-enhancing drugs should be illegal.
For instance it is an unfair and unethical way to make yourself better. If an adult takes PEDs it will enable heavy lifting and him will end up tearing muscles and when he go off of the drug he will lose most of your muscle. Lance

Such as harmful liver, kidney tumors, and cancer. It can also cause stunted growth which causes your bones to not fully mature. It has hair loss, and damage to testicles. It causes the pituitary gland to malfunction and not do its job. These are all critical life threatening effect liver cancer and conjunction tumor can kill you. While knowing about these life threatening effect they still used this drug.
There are also many short term health effects like high cholesterol. They also make a adult more moody. That is why they call them rage pills because they say the users get easily mad. It will cause him to high blood pressure which cause him to have a higher risk of heart attacks and strokes. If he used them he might get suicidal thoughts and it will give him loss of appetite.
Some people believe that PEDs are a positive thing because they Pronoun help athletes recover faster from injuries. But when doctors prescribes PEDs they prescribes low doses. When people use PEDs they use them for long term use and they use very high doses and it is very harmful.
In summary, PEDs are not good or meant for people. Performance Enhancing Drugs are unfair and have many Adjective negative short term and long term effects. There are many professional athletes that have used Performance Enhancing Drugs and many of them regret using them and would probably take it back if they had a second
