The Role Of Punishment In Romeo And Juliet
Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet story us based on punishment, and if there was none, the story would be plain and uncomplicated. Even in today's society, punishment assists people to differentiate right from wrong, and therefore I believe punishment should be allowed, but it must be justified and only go to a certain extent.

Most people of the Elizabethan era had the belief that their fate was partly predetermined by the stars and planets above them. In Romeo and Juliet, fate is often talked about, not so much as an excuse for actions, but almost like a god in the sky that they converse with.

Throughout Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, many examples of revolt against various authorities are seen from Romeo, Juliet and several other characters.
