1 Understand why communication is important in the work setting:

2.1 Identify different reasons why people communicate
Communication are more important in different aspect of working area, however, there are one to four reason but not the last such as to: (a) Give information: (b) Make a point: (c) Outline a concern: (d) Express a need:

1a- Give information about playgroup, upcoming projects, trips fundraisers, meetings, accidents and feedback.
1b- Make a point to a parent of any concerns with regarding the child attitude.
1c- outline a concern that parent or member of staff may have about a child that needs to be discussing, for instant, at bumblebees a parent had come to staff with a concern over her child as the parents were going through a separation, this was having an impact on the child behavior and emotions. Through this communication we were able to better handle the situation and work with the parent to help the child through a difficult and emotional time.
1d- Throughout the day the children express their needs to us, they ask to go to the toilet they may need help and they have to express it for us to understand.

2.2 Explain how effective communication affects all aspects of own work.

Effective communication in workplace is a major part of the role of healthcare workers and its enables them to build good working relationships with their colleagues and service users. Ineffective communication skills in the place of work could lead to total breakdown of working relationship which could affect the people, the server user and organization reputation. It could lead to improper care for server user which might end up with prosecution. etc.

2.3 Explain why it is important to observe an individual’s communicating with them.
