“Japan is very popular for their great magna.” Indeed, Japan is the most famous place for magna. One of the very beloved magna is called Sailor Moon (Bishōjo Senshi Sērā Mūn originally translated into Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon). Most people that have seen the anime and read the magna declare that Sailor Moon is one of their favorite anime ever. This is probably due to the fact that Sailor Moon is funny, has a lot of action, and is romantic at the same time. As a matter of fact, Sailor Moon is very funny. Of all the characters in the series, I would say the Inner Senshi (including Sailor Moon, Sailor Chibi Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, and Sailor Venus) are the most hilarious ones, because they’re still teens and are “enjoying” youth at the maximum. With their unique personalities, they make a great combo all together. In fact, Sailor Moon deals with a lot of action. A girl named Usagi Tsukino (translated into Serena Tsukino) that meets a talking cat named Luna. Luna tells her that she is destined to be a sailor senshi and that she must fight against evil, find the other Sailor Senshi, and meanwhile find the Princess of the Moon Kingdom (The Silver Millennium). After that, she transforms into Sailor Moon and finds the other senshi (sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, and Sailor Venus, along with the other talking cat, Artemis) and to their surprise the Moon Princess was Usagi all along! If truth be told, although it deals with action, Sailor Moon also has a lot of romance. For example, Prince Endymion (the Prince of the Earth) and Princess Serenity’s love

was forbidden, for Earth and the Moon Kingdom could not be together. And still love between them grew and they saw each other secretly.
