My book, The Scorch Trials, taught me that you should never give up no matter what happens or what you´re doing. During the middle of the book, where the gladers which are the people from the maze were running to the city with very little food and a small amount of water, a storm hits out of nowhere. Wicked, which was the organization that created the maze and were the ones who put them in the scorch, caused many explosions and lightning bolts to try and stop them. They kept on running and never lost hope that they would survive. Only 3 of the gladers died during the electrical storm.
