As a college student, I believe that I show faith in God when I overcome the challenges such as my projects, assignments, exams, and other college requirements. Faith allows us to overcome the impossible. As a believer of God, I apply faith whenever I try to do something that is perceived by me to be impossible. When I am overloaded with requirements or when I am about to fail a certain course, I always pray to God to help me stand up again. Based on my experiences, He never let me down. I believe that it is because I have faith in Him that made the impossible possible for me. Passing DLSU entrance exam, becoming a dean’s list, winning competitions, and more are the evidences that I believe are enough to prove that faith applies when we need help from God. When it comes to service, I believe that I apply it by serving the poor communities, just like how Jesus served the poor and helped them during His time. Through service to the poor, I believe that we become a better person and that we become closer to Jesus because we follow His footsteps and teachings.
