What is sex oppression and how can we rid society of it? This is a concern that many feminists are trying to stamp out through two different angles, the difference approach and the sameness approach. The difference approach, Gynocentrism in particular, focuses on how men and women are different from each other and that the female experience is held more valuable than the male experience. The sameness approach, also known as the Humanistic Feminism, focuses on ways that women are not treated the same as men, and argue that this should not be the case.
