The Similarities Between Slavery And Modern Day

Slavery got started when people started to grow into towns and big cities. Before there was slavery people would hunt and gather enough food for them self. If they didn't they wouldn't have survived by themselves. As people started to grow and develop they would start to have a need for more people so they could keep up with the growing world. The hunter gatherer that a lot of people did started to fade as people grew and as they did the food abundance grew with them, so people could afford to own, feed and work slaves. Slavery was a beneficial resource to farms, as the population grew farms did to so food could be supplied to feed the growing cities and towns. I think without the slaves on the farms they could not have produced as much food
Within reason they are still treated like absolute crap, they are still worked to death and beaten if they decide to step out of place or deny to do work. They don't get paid and if they do it is very little, alo there work space are never the best. They are all still working in trash, garbage, and a lot of other stuff that could seriously hurt and kill people all for just getting money. Slaves are also still considered property of people instead of humans that have their rights as people. They are still bought and sold at market. They also still only use the poor people as slaves. I think if the less people we have working as slaves and pay them the better the world will be cause we will have less poverty, less hunger and less
Another difference is that it's not all over the world. Back in the ancient world there was slavery everywhere there was people. In today's days there is only certain places in this world that have slavery. Hear in America we don't have slavery. That is a big difference because we live here and if we still have slavery us kids would probably all be in a field working to our deaths. Slaves in the ancient world had a social system. There is 2 differences in that last statement we don't have a social system like they did back in the ancient world, yes we have one but it is a different type of system. Also, if we can move classes it's not like if you get into one you have to stay in that class. If you were born into a poor class you had to stay, also a lot of times of you were born in a low class you were probably become a slave and worked to death.
