The Situational Leadership Theory
The presence of different internal and external forces that affect the operations within a company provides the manager with a chance to choose the best reaction to a situation. The use of the situational leadership theory as a response mechanism is quite appropriate because it offers new changes that adhere to different goals intended within an organization (Lambert, Marler, &Gueutal, 2008). The experiences gained during a specific period will determine how well the management can respond to biting issues within the company. The objective is to get the employees working towards their goals without failure; an issue that disturbs every manager across the world (Silverthorne, 2000).

Readiness allows employees to buy into ideas and make changes based on what they learn. Each assignment is a process that ensures employees and managers work in tandem to achieve the specified goals. The situational leadership theory requires a manager to make choices based on the situation. If the feeling is that of ineptness, the ability to handle any changes or competitions could hinder the attainment of the right goals (Kooskora, &Isok, 2014). Personality traits, experiences, and values must be noted here because the situation will reflect the preparedness of the employees in the handling of certain issues. Ken and Allan have to ensure they present the best to their teams rather than demotivating them by being too lenient as Allan is, or harsh as Ken is. Employees need an inspiration that will provide them with the commitment they need to achieve their goals (Moerschell, & Lao, 2012). The motivation bit needs to be of a higher level because it is an inherent need for all. If the managers are all harsh, the employees will lack the motivation to handle any issues arising.
